Whether you’re a seasoned sketcher or someone who “can’t draw,” but loves being outside, our Intro to Nature Journaling experience is for you! Come slow down, get curious, and see the landscape through a new lens. Everyone is welcome, regardless of art or nature experience. We’ll have all the materials you need, but feel free to bring your own supplies if you have them. Please note that this event is hosted in partnership with Quarry. What to Expect:
- Settle In – We’ll root ourselves in the space with a short discussion and mindfulness practice.
- Learn Nature Journaling Techniques – Learn the basics of observing with all your senses and documenting what you notice through multiple methods.
- Build Community & Connection – Practice your new skills with a collaborative journaling exercise.
- Take Home a Zine – Additional ideas to help you build a nature journaling practice at home.

🔹 Who Should Come? Anyone curious about connecting with the land and building a nature journaling practice. No drawing or art experience required!
🔹 What to Bring? Comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a water bottle, and any nature journaling materials you have on hand. We’ll have them available for those who don’t.
